Tracing Heirs & Living Descendants.

About

Identifying Rightful Heirs.

Ireland is a nation of diaspora – and when probate matters cross borders, experience matters.

Since 1990, our team of forensic genealogical researchers has successfully completed cases that originated in the United Kingdom, USA, Australia and Canada. Our research team has an excellent success rate in tracing extended family and have successfully traced beneficiaries across 5 generations.

Families may lose touch or become estranged over the years. When a person dies intestate, lawyers and Public Administrators in the jurisdiction where the death occurred often require assistance in identifying and locating the rightful beneficiaries. Our experienced probate genealogists can assist in this process.

What to Expect

Our team will complete research, identify rightful heirs, trace living descendants, prepare any required reports and supporting documents for admission as evidence in court, and provide expert testimony at kinship hearings.

To start the process, we will ask you to provide us with the following details:

  • (If the decedent was born in Ireland); the name, place of birth and approximate date of birth of the decedent, and his/her parents’ names.
  • (If the decedent is of Irish heritage but was not born in Ireland); full details of the decedent’s family connection to Ireland, including the names of any known relatives and any location(s) believed to be relevant.

All of our researchers are:

  • Academically qualified with professional experience
  • Historical detectives, leaving no piece of evidence unexamined
  • Records specialists, skilled in navigating a wide range of sources
  • Trained in both traditional genealogical methodologies and genetic genealogy, including autosomal, mitochondrial, and Y-DNA analysis
