About the Project
Eneclann was commissioned in partnership with Irish Genealogy Ltd. to produce a CD Rom of Ireland’s Memorial Records , World War I, 1914-1918.

The original collection was compiled by the Committee of the Irish National War Memorial and contains in eight volumes a record of over 49,000 Irishmen who lost their lives in World War I.

Eneclann’s Role
The images (right) were captured at 300 DPI 8-bit (grey scale) saved as 1-bit TIF files using CCITT Group IV compression (193Kb).

The CD Rom Publication includes all eight volumes of the original publication with scanned images of every page. The Names and addresses of the 49,000 individuals who died are fully searchable by different category. The CD can be purchased at the Eneclann Shop.
